Staff were friendly & worked to get me in the vehicle I wanted, especially Dante who went above & beyond to resolve down payment amount discrepancy & “accepted” verifiable income! I will say from the banking side (Bridgecrest) - it was absolutely ridiculous that $80 in verifiable income was the difference between a $300 down payment & a $900 down payment; I had $4320 of “accepted” verifiable income & needed $4400 to drop the down payment from $900 to $300?! That math ain’t mathing!
And I had much more verifiable monthly income that just wasn’t accepted, but there was enough there that that $80 should not have been enough to keep a deal from being done & keep Dante from completing a sale that he worked for & earned! That hard line for $80 that was clearly covered by documents that you would not consider tells me you really don’t care about the DriveTime salespeople, general managers, or customers! I bought the car (& paid the bigger down payment) because Drivetime & Dante earned the business despite the fact Bridgecrest didn’t, & since that $80 was enough for you to justify not bending/moving to make a deal, trust me when I tell you that same $80 will be enough to keep me from ever bending to do another deal with Bridgecrest!

My experience with DriveTime company was immaculate throughout this process. In my opinion financially the payments are high risk high reward. My partner and I don’t have the best credit, no history with financing but it was an issue here. The sales representatives that helped us were Austin & Joseph who were well spoken, patient and friendly with our family.
Joseph helped up pick out our vehicle, do a test drive and calculated the down payment & biweekly payments. He was very patient and helpful with helping us get promotions. Austin took care of us during our finial visit where we completed our paperwork, paid the down payment and got insurance through a referral who is not associated with DriveTime. Austin was knowledgeable and carried a great conversation making our experience even better.
At the end of everything Austin took our picture of us and our new car with a signature green DriveTime bow. If you’re unsure if this is the right dealership for you, stop in and trust me they’ll take great care of you. They even have multiple play areas for the kids, very family oriented if you have little ones. As a female going to a car dealership you worry that you won’t be treated as an intelligent individual but I quickly realized that’s not the case here. I can confidently say that DriveTime did everything possible to make my dream a reality. Thank you for everything and I hope to shop here again.

I normally use a credit union and get pre-approved before go to a dealership to buying a car. This was different, I got pre-approved with drivetime online by just putting in my info. Then, I looked and found a couple of vehicles I liked. Found and reviewed the free car fax offered on the site for each one and made my choice. Set an appointment to see and test drive. The next day I arrived, my husband and I was greeted and meet with Rodney my salesman (Nice guy). After 4hrs, we had testing driving, checking vehicle and features, verifying bank and employment, signing papers and watching a couple of videos, we were all good to go.
They also have a points system to take off APR%? That was cool, my interest rate we down with the points thing, not sure how it works but glad it did! I read a lot of bad reviews and saw people coming in complaining. Apparently, couple of people got in accidents after buying a car and opted out of any extended coverage. That sucks. If you look for bad, you gonna find it. I gave it a chance and glad I did. I rarely give anything 5 stars but this was better than any other car buying experience. Oh yeah did I mentioned I had no money down!

On Thursday, May 2, 2024 I went to the Drive Time lot on Cassat Ave. in Jacksonville, FL. I had an appointment for 3:00 PM but got there about ten minutes early. I was greeted by everyone at the location and was introduced to my sales person, Allan **. We went over to his desk and started the process of determining what I could get with my guidelines of no more than 500.00 per month and 500.00 down. Alan did his "Magic" and came back with a 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan, that I had actually looked at online the day before, talk about Karma!
I took the vehicle for a spin and liked it very much. Then we talked about the numbers, Alan told me that with 0 down and for 610.00 per month I could get it. I explained I just could not afford that and reminded him about my 500 payment limit. He then suggested if we worked the numbers with a down payment we could see. He also told me that the price included the extended warranty, the gap coverage, and one other optional service. So we ran the numbers with only the extended warranty and 300 down. It came back at 572, but knowing that it included the extended warranty and gap coverage, both of which I had planned to buy anyway, I decided this was in my budget.
Then came the trouble. It had absolutely NOTHING to do with Alan or Drive Time, it took me four hours to get insurance. I was getting so much run around and craziness from the main insurers, but, Alan to the rescue. He put me in touch with a low rate insurance company in Orlando, and within 45 minutes I had insurance for a lower down payment and lower monthly fee. Alan ** is the MAN!! I will not hesitate to tell anyone I know looking for a good used vehicle to go visit Alan at Drive Time.

I am a 40-year-old single mother with a not so great credit score. I needed a new vehicle as mine was on its last leg and I drive 40 minutes to and from work. I actually work at a different bhph dealership but my dad had told me about DriveTime as he bought his truck through them. After work I decided to stop by as I work just down the road. I was looking at vehicles when Cary came to help. We went inside and I told her what I was looking for. I had a trade-in that they offered me a great price for but I did not have the title for at the time. It was a Saturday evening so we made an appointment for Monday after I got off work. On Monday I arrived for my appointment with my title. Cary was off that day but had things ready for Valerie. Valerie was a very nice woman. She was very informative about my Jeep.
